After posting 193/2, Babar Azam take a lead to dismissed Hong Kong for just 38 runs in 10.4 overs in the sixth and final league match of Asia Cup 2022 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday. Meaning a whopping 155-run victory for the 'Men In Green'. Pakistan, the two-time champions, thus qualified for the Super Four.

Despite doing all the hard work, Khushdil Shah blew Hong Kong away in the Asia Cup match against Pakistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday evening.
The left-handed batter scored an unbeaten 35 off 15 balls as Pakistan piled a gigantic 193/2 on the board.
While , Hong Kong were bundled out for 38, thus handing a resounding 155-run victory to Babar Azam and the whole Pakistan Team who become the fourth team to qualify for Super Four.
Spinners Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz scalped four and three wickets respectively. Pacer Naseem Shah picked two, while Shahnawaz Dahani also scalped one.
Earlier in the evening after being invited to bat first Pakistan got off to a slow start and lost captain Babar Azam early on 9(8).
Following his dismissal Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman then stitched a 116-run stand for the second wicket. Rizwan scored 78 off 57 balls, while Fakhar scored 53 off 41 balls before getting out to Ehsan Khan, who scalped both the Pakistan wickets. Khushdil, who joined the action in the 17th over, provided Pakistan with the much-needed throttle towards the end. He smashed four sixes in the final over bowled by Aizaz Khan, helping his side post a staggering total for the bowlers to defend.
