Big Bash League 2022-23 Match 26 by 11ic

In Game 26 of the Big Bash League 2022–23, the Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers will square off. Matthew Wade's Hurricanes, who are currently at the bottom of the standings with a dismal net run rate of -0.957, are playing poorly. The Hurricanes are now officially in last place in the championship after the Brisbane Heat defeated the Sydney Sixers on Sunday by a score of 15 runs. After suffering a crushing 62-run loss to the Sydney Thunder, they will enter their next game. The Hurricanes' choice to bat first backfired when the Thunder scored 228 with the loss of six wickets, and they did so after taking the field. The Hurricanes finished with 166 in 17 overs despite Wade's 67 off 30.

On the other hand, Peter Siddle's Strikers won their first three games of the tournament. They seemed dangerous once they were positioned on the top of the table. They are currently in fourth place, though, following a three-match losing streak. In their prior match on December 31, the team suffered an eight-run defeat to the Melbourne Stars. Despite Adam Hose's 41-ball 56, the Strikers fell short after the Stars scored 186 for seven. In addition to Henry Hunt, who opened the batting, he also scored 49 runs, but his efforts were ineffective.
