Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Renegades

Melbourne Renegades won by 22 runs

With a convincing victory to kick off their campaign, the Renegades excelled in every way. had a strong start with the bat and scored the runs they could stop. The fielders saved some very important boundaries while the bowlers took wickets and bowled efficiently. Only 5 fours and 6 sixes were hit in the entire innings, which is why Heat was penalized for the lack of boundaries and . balls. Peirson and Munro got off to good starts but failed to convert, and Munro played slowly while savoring the deliveries.Despite Whiteley and Bazley's previous partnership's best efforts, there were simply too many runs to chase down with the number of deliveries available. They regularly lost wickets and were consistently falling behind the required run rate.

Hosein was outstanding with the ball; he claimed two wickets in his first two overs and gave his team the advantage right away. A total of three wickets were taken by him, with one each by Russell and Rogers. Everyone else was also excellent because they controlled the batsman and did not allow runs to be scored. At the end of the match Melbourne Renegades take home 3rd match against Brisbane Heat by 22 runs.
