3rd Quarter Final of ECS T10 Belgium 2022 is between two determined team, Mechelen Eagles CC and International CC Brussels. Despite losing just one game in Group A, Mechelen Eagles have proved they are considered one of the leading contenders. A team like that has players like Ikramullah Naseer and Khurram Cheema who can go ballistic right from the start of a game. In the bowling department, Naseer's all-round performance in the tournament has propelled them to the quarterfinals, and he's taken 11 wickets in the process. With regards to International CC Brussels, they finished fourth on the points table in Group B with just three wins. It has been a fantastic season for Liege in the ECS T10 Belgium 2022, winning six out of their eight matches and topping Group B. In contrast, the Ostend Exiles managed to win just two of their eight matches. Their fourth-place finish in Group A earned them a place in the knockout stages. As a result of the powerplay, the Exiles were successful in dismissing four top-order batters. In spite of this, the hosts were kept in the game by a 44-run fifth wicket stand between Munawar and Forqanullah. As a result of Ibrahimkhel's five-ball cameo to assist Forqanullah, Liege were left with 11 runs to chase down in the final over. The last over bowled by Manpreet Sandhu was among the best. To secure a win for his team, he dismissed Forqanullah and conceded only three runs.
The Exiles have won again. What a victory! Despite a thriller final over, they claimed victory by 7 runs over the tournament favorites. A semi-final spot has been secured for them, which will give them a good chance at winning the tournament.
