India men’s national cricket team secured the second spot in the Super 4 after beating Hongkong by 40 run-win in 2022 Asia Cup as they play for the 1st time against each other in this format.
Chasing a target of 193, Hong Kong were restricted to a total of 142 for five in 20 overs. Babar Hayat top-scored with a knock of 41 while Kinchit Shah and Zeeshan Ali played cameos of 30 and 26 not out, respectively.

Ayush Shukla and Mohammad Ghazanfar of Hongkong team picked a wicket each that Indian team made one change to their playing XI from the last game as Rishabh Pant replaced Hardik Pandya, who has been rested.
