As part of the 10th Women's Big Bash League, Sydney Thunder Women will take on a face-to-face match against Hobart Hurricanes Women. In the first two games of the Women's Big Bash League 2022, the Sydney Thunder haven't had the best of starts, having lost both games. The Thunder have not fired as a unit despite having players like Tahlia Wilson and Chloe Tryon come up with impressive positions. Hobart Hurricanes have a formidable bowling attack, so they'll have their work cut out for them. Heather Graham starred with the ball for the Hurricanes in the reverse fixture. Despite that, they'll be wary of what the Thunder can do, so it'll be an intriguing match.

Keeping their unbeaten streak in the tournament, the Sydney Sixers have shown that they mean business this season. Perth Scorchers, on the other hand, have won two out of two, which firmly puts them at the top of the table. We're going to see Sydney Thunder take on Hobart Hurricanes in this all-important encounter. Having played two games, the Hobart Hurricanes lost their last game to the Scorchers. Heather Graham was the only player that looked like she was able to gain runs when Hurricanes batted first. They eventually finished with 109-9 after losing wickets continuously during the innings. With little runs in hand, the Hurricanes had to strike early, and Molly Strano struck off her very first ball, but the Scorchers steadied the chase from then on, winning with 5.5 overs remaining.

Against the Hurricanes, Sydney Thunder is going through a bit of a rough start to the tournament, two games, two losses. It was also the Scorchers they played against in their last game, and they were in terrible shape with their bat. During the powerplay, the Thunder were 17-4 and struggled with their bats, but Tahlia Wilson and Anika Learoyd were able to steady the ship to a certain degree, but after leaving the game, they couldn't get back on track, and ended up scoring just two runs. Scorchers had a fifty-run bowling partnership that set the game up for victory.
