With 20 runs needed in the last over, burns clobbered Barsby for two maximums, sending chills down the Strikers' dugout, but Barsby held her nerve and picked up two wickets in the last two balls to win the game. Last game for the Melbourne Renegades was against Brisbane Heat. After opting to bowl first, the Renegades started off well, but let the Heat off the hook later. Sarah Coyte and Shabnim Ismail both bowled well, along with Shabnim Ismail.
At 15-3, the Renegades were struggling to chase a stiff target, and they lost their three prime batters inside the powerplay. To finish off Dottin's innings, Mcgrath came on. As the only two wickets that fell during the innings, Sarah Coyte bowled well and snared both of them.
